When we walked the streets of London, We knew we were the golden boys. Freedom in the air and the times were changing. Looking for a place to play our sad guitars And sing our pretty songs All about the Rambling Boys and the Dirty Old Town. So here's to the Salisbury boys Sharing harmonies in the alleyways, Lingering in the dark cafes Thinking ‘bout Home. Down the stairs to the Greek Street back room With our sad guitars and our pretty songs, We sang about the Mountain Thyme and the Little Black Train. Later on, we were tired, we were hungry, Travelling the underground Back to the one-room hideaway to talk with the night. Instrumental So here's to the Salisbury boys… When we walked the streets of London, It was the year of ’65 Freedom in the air and the times were changing.

I've never been a man who regrets a decision I've never been a man who likes to compromise I never knew a heart that I could never ever be apart from. That cosy life is not for me I'd rather be solitary So why is it that it seems to be…that I? I can't get over your love. I can't get over your love. No matter how the wind blows, No matter how the time goes by, I can't get over your love. I've never been susceptible to those needy feelings. Never hesitated to just walk away. Sunsets, full moons, happy ever after afternoons; That cosy life is not for me I'd rather be solitary So why is it that it seems to be…that I? I can't get over your love… The face that lingers unexpectedly, The voice that whispers in the rain, That night, imagining you're next to me Holding me, loving me… I can't get over… Just can’t get over… I’ll never get over… Why can’t I get over? Help me get over… Somebody help me get over Your love. Your love

Songwriter 05:00
There once was a songwriter. He wrote a song to heal the world. He sang about peace and forgiveness, He sang about love and understanding And when the people heard his song, there was a hush and a silence They turned around to him, one by one They said, “You think we love violence? You misunderstand the situation. We don't believe in war We must defend our homeland, We must protect our children. We know what we are fighting for! Just look around you, How can we ignore this destruction? Just look around you, How can we endure this suffering? Lend your voice to us. Help us stand together. Stand up and fight with us. Help us defeat the oppressor.” It's cold on the front line. The bitter night draws in Here on the front line, A place where no bird sings. We watch the horizon. The guns are quiet now. We scan the horizon While distant shadows deepen. What's that moving? Maybe nothing But something’s moving They're in the distant shadowlands Something’s moving Something’s moving… And then the songwriter woke from his dream in the morning. The sounds that he heard were familiar In the light of that English morning. He wrote a new song There in the light of the morning. The sound of a new song carrying through the air. A song about freedom. A song about truth and injustice. A song about standing together.

Take a time, take a beat, take a rhythm Take a tune that you can bob along to. Do the thing makes you feel like you're living Down the road you know that you belong to. Aha, lean back here it comes; It's that fascinating feeling. It flows just like the river runs. It goes jumping’ to the ceiling. Oh, and suddenly, you're dancing! Suddenly, you're dancing! Suddenly, you’re…(tap break) Take a time, take a place, take a moment, Take a sentimental atmosphere - In the park with the moon on the rise And the look in her eyes makes it very clear… Something’s here - something’s coming, this I know. It's that singular sensation! It flows just like the river flows. Feel those sensational vibrations… Oh, and suddenly, you're dancing! Suddenly, you're dancing! Suddenly, you’re - Up to your eyes in wonder and surprise, You've got your two feet flying through the air! Don't know where they're going But while the music’s flowing, I'm happy to be there - Feeling something rare! Instrumental Take a time, take a beat, take a rhythm Take a tune that you can bob along to. Do the thing makes you feel like you're living Down the road you know that you belong to. Aha, lean back here it comes; It's that singular sensation! It flows just like the river runs. Feel those sensational vibrations… Oh, and suddenly, you're dancing! Suddenly, you're dancing! Gotta get your red shoes on!! Let’s Dance!

There was a solitary boy Who had a book of photographs. He liked to travel back in time, He liked to wallow in the past. He had a room in Camden Town Above the Hummingbird Café. From his window, looking down He'd watch the people of the town As they hurry on their way. And oh, it's just a sentimental tale. And oh, another sad and lonely song that you can sing along to. There was a solitary girl She lived down by the old canal. She had a cat called Mr Jones. He was her one and only pal. She'd been a waitress for a while In the Hummingbird Café. She’d serve the people with a smile With their tea of chamomile Before they'd hurry on their way. And oh, it's just a sentimental tale. And oh, another sad and lonely song that you can sing along to. One Saturday, into the café, without any plan, Stepped the solitary boy who ordered an omelette - Tomato and ham. A few minutes later, the solitary girl picked up his order, Brought it to his table. And that's when their eyes met - over an omelette. He picked her up at the midnight hour Outside the Hummingbird Café. He said “please can I walk you home?” She simply smiled, and said “okay”. They walked together, hand-in-hand, Along beside the old canal. He said why don't we stop awhile? I'd like a picture of you, standing now, Here underneath the cherry moon As it sparkles in your eyes. That was the time they fell in love Right there, beneath the cherry skies. And oh, it's just a sentimental tale. And oh, another sad and lonely song that you can sing along to. They were married on a Saturday. Spoke their vows, and then they walked away Back to the room above the café Where they made love - Wonderful love! All night long. —— The years passed by, Mr Jones passed away. She became a teacher - he became a painter. Their lives drifted by. The couple grew apart. No ever after, after all, Just the mystery of the heart. And oh, it's just a sentimental tale. And oh, another sad and lonely song that you can sing along to.

Perfect the love Perfect the love Perfect, the love that can walk through the shadows, Braving the dark as it shines. Strong is the heart that can still beat with passion, Filled with the fire - conquering time. Perfect, the love that is returned, Sharing the trust that must be earned. Perfect, the love that is fresh as a morning, Warm as a summer, Free as a song. Perfect the love Perfect the love Perfect, the love that is fresh as a morning, Warm as a summer, Free as a song.

Wolfgang! 02:16
I love Mr Mozart, on the piano forte, I could sit and play him all day. That Amadeus, he wrote a mean Sonata. He was born in Salzburg, and was also known as Wolfgang. He was only 5 feet four. Yet he was a Colossus in the world of music that he lived for. He loves to go out shopping to buy clothes to make him elegant. He earned the money that he spent by teaching rich aristocrats. At concerts played throughout the land is fortepiano sweetly sang. The people came from miles around To marvel at the wonder that was Wolfgang! He wrote concertos - he wrote cantatas, And 35 sensational sonatas. He wrote fantasias that would amaze yus! It seems to me, there's nothing finer Then his Rondo in A minor. Yes, I love Mr Mozart, I feel him in my fingers, It moves me to my very core When I play his Alla Turca from circa 1784. He wrote for string quartets And even clarinets. His operas were popular - Cosi Fan Tutti, and the Magic Flute. We celebrate them still. I suspect we always will, To worship at the altar of That prodigy from up above, To marvel at the wonder that was - Wolfgang!!

I love to walk in the sun with you. I'll even walk in the rain. I love the way you do the things that you do And hardly ever complain. I love the way you take my hand. I love the way you understand me when I get things wrong. I wrote this song for you, because my love is still true, And I'm still looking at you And you're still laughing at me. I love your kind heart, I love your warm smile, I love your long hair - The way it moves with the wind. You make me better, You make me stronger, My love is deeper for you now - I am where I belong. I love the way you take my hand. I love the way you understand me when I get things wrong. I wrote this song for you, because my love is still true, And I'm still looking at you And you're still laughing at me. Yes I'm still looking at you, And you're still laughing at me.
